Eating out in Playa Blanca is straightforward, with plenty of choice along the promenade, around the harbour and at Marina Rubicón. You’ll find Canarian dishes, fresh fish, tapas, Italian restaurants, international menus and casual cafés. Marina Rubicón is also a pleasant place for an evening walk, with smart waterfront dining and a more polished atmosphere.

Nightlife in Playa Blanca is generally low-key rather than late and lively. Evenings tend to centre on relaxed bars, live music venues, hotel entertainment and drinks by the waterfront. It suits couples, families and anyone who prefers a quieter resort base.

Popular things to do include boat trips along the coast, ferries to Fuerteventura from the harbour, coastal walks, snorkelling in sheltered spots and visiting nearby sights such as Timanfaya National Park or the wine area of La Geria on a day trip. With its sunny climate, walkable seafront and choice of beaches, Playa Blanca is a strong option for a laid-back Lanzarote holiday.
