Colakli is a relaxed beach resort on Turkey’s Antalya coast, set just west of Side and within easy reach of Manavgat. For a wider choice of restaurants, harbour views and a more atmospheric evening out, Side is a short journey away.

Nightlife in Colakli is generally low-key. Most evening entertainment takes place in the hotels, with a few casual bars and venues around the resort. Travellers looking for late nights, bigger bars or a livelier setting will usually head towards Side or other nearby resorts along the coast.

Colakli is also well placed for exploring. Side’s ancient ruins, including its theatre and seafront Temple of Apollo, are among the easiest and most worthwhile trips. Manavgat is handy for its river, local markets and waterfall area, while organised excursions may include boat trips, traditional Turkish baths, jeep safaris or visits to historic sites such as Aspendos. Overall, Colakli suits holidaymakers who want a comfortable beach base with the option to dip into local history and nearby towns when they fancy a change of scene.
