Excursions often run from or near the harbour, including coastal cruises and dolphin-spotting trips, depending on season and sea conditions. There are also viewpoints above the resort where you can look back over the beach, harbour and surrounding cliffs.

Puerto Mogán works well for couples, older travellers and families who prefer a gentle pace, attractive surroundings and convenient resort facilities. It is not the biggest resort on Gran Canaria, and that is part of its charm. With its sheltered beach, scenic harbour and easy-going atmosphere, it offers a pleasant base for a sunny Canaries holiday without feeling too hectic.
