About Super Paradise Beach holidays

Super Paradise Beach is one of Mykonos’ best-known beach resorts, set in a small bay on the island’s south coast. It is a compact place, centred almost entirely on the beach, with clear Aegean water, pale sand and a lively, sociable atmosphere. Holidays here suit travellers who want their days to revolve around sunbathing, swimming, beach bars and music rather than a traditional village setting.

The beach is the main attraction. Sunbeds and umbrellas usually take up much of the sand in the main season, with beachfront venues offering drinks, snacks and meals close to the water. The bay is sheltered enough for enjoyable swimming on calmer days, and the rocky edges can be good for a short snorkel when conditions are clear. It is worth bringing beach shoes if you prefer extra comfort near the shoreline, as parts of the beach can be pebbly.

Super Paradise Beach is particularly known for its party scene. The mood tends to be more relaxed earlier in the day, becoming livelier as music starts at the beach clubs in the afternoon and into the evening. It has long been popular with a mixed international crowd, including LGBTQ+ travellers, and has a reputation for being open-minded and energetic. If you are looking for a very quiet base, this may not be the right fit in peak summer.

Dining is mostly informal and beach-based, with menus typically focused on Mediterranean dishes, Greek favourites, salads, seafood, cocktails and casual snacks. For a wider choice of restaurants, boutiques and evening strolls, Mykonos Town is the obvious trip out and is reachable by road.

There is not a large resort centre behind the beach, so facilities are more limited than in bigger Mykonos resorts. Accommodation tends to be a mix of nearby hotels, suites and villas, while some visitors come for the day from elsewhere on the island. Transport options can vary by season, but taxis, private transfers, hire cars and scooters are commonly used, and seasonal buses or beach connections may operate in summer. Overall, Super Paradise Beach is ideal for a short, sun-filled Mykonos break with a strong beach-club atmosphere.

Super Paradise Beach Holidays FAQs

Not usually in the main summer season. Super Paradise Beach is known for beach clubs, music and a lively social scene, especially from the afternoon onwards. It can be calmer earlier in the day or outside peak season, but it is not one of Mykonos’ quietest beach areas.
