Riccione Holidays

Riccione is one of the best-known resorts on Italy’s Adriatic Riviera, set just south of Rimini in the Emilia-Romagna region. Food is one of the highlights here: expect fresh seafood, handmade pasta, grilled fish and local Emilia-Romagna specialities such as piadina, a warm flatbread often filled with cheese, cured meats or vegetables.

Riccione is also known for its evening scene. Summer nights often revolve around drinks on the seafront, late dinners and music bars, while the hills just outside town are home to some of the area’s larger clubs. It can be lively in peak season, but there are still quieter corners for couples or travellers who prefer a slower pace.

Popular things to do include visiting Riccione Terme for spa treatments, spending a day at Aquafan or Oltremare, or taking a short trip to Rimini for its historic centre and wider choice of attractions. With its combination of beach life, good food, easy evening entertainment and a smart resort feel, Riccione suits holidaymakers who want a classic Italian seaside break with plenty close at hand.
