You will find tapas, rice dishes, seafood, casual cafés and familiar options for those who prefer simple holiday dining. Evenings are generally low-key, centred on restaurants, terraces and friendly bars rather than late-night clubs. If you want a much bigger nightlife scene, Benidorm is only a short journey away.

Albir also works well as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Altea, with its whitewashed old town and sea views, is close by, while Benidorm offers theme parks, shopping and a much busier resort atmosphere.
