Benidorm is one of the Costa Blanca’s best-known holiday resorts, set between the Mediterranean and a skyline of high-rise hotels and apartments. The main beaches are a big part of Benidorm’s appeal. Levante Beach is the livelier side, backed by a long promenade, cafés and bars, and is close to much of the resort’s nightlife. The resort is famous for its nightlife, especially around the Levante side, with pubs, music bars, cabaret venues and late-night entertainment. There are also quieter restaurants, beachfront terraces and hotel-based shows for those who prefer a more low-key night out.

There is plenty to do beyond the beach. Families and groups often visit attractions such as Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Mítica, all within easy reach of the resort. For walking and coastal scenery, Sierra Helada Natural Park sits to the east of Benidorm, with routes leading to viewpoints over the sea. Boat trips, including sailings towards Benidorm Island, are also a popular way to see the coastline from a different angle.
