Popular days out from Calis Beach include Ölüdeniz and the Blue Lagoon, the abandoned village of Kayaköy, Saklikent Gorge, and boat trips along the coast. Dalyan and the rock tombs are also possible as a longer excursion from the Dalaman area. For travellers who like a resort with a genuine beach-holiday feel but without a hectic party scene, Calis Beach offers a comfortable, convenient base with plenty to do nearby.
