Santa Eulalia is one of Ibiza’s more relaxed east-coast resorts, well suited to holidaymakers who want the island’s sunshine, sea views and good food without staying in the busiest party areas. It has a polished but easy-going feel, with a palm-lined promenade, a smart marina and a compact centre that is simple to explore on foot.

The main beach, Playa de Santa Eulalia, sits right by the resort centre and is a convenient choice for swimming, sunbathing and waterfront lunches. Just across the river mouth is Playa del Río, a smaller sandy stretch that offers a slightly quieter feel while still being close to cafés and restaurants. The seafront promenade is one of the resort’s best features, especially for an evening stroll, with views across the bay and plenty of places to stop for a drink or meal.

Food is a real strength in Santa Eulalia. Around the marina and along the seafront you’ll find everything from casual tapas bars to seafood restaurants and international dining. Calle San Vicente, often known as Restaurant Street, is a popular spot for dinner, with a wide choice of places in a pedestrian-friendly setting.

Nightlife here is low-key compared with Ibiza Town or San Antonio. Evenings tend to revolve around cocktails, wine bars, live music venues and late dinners rather than large clubs, making Santa Eulalia a good base for couples, families and anyone looking for a calmer Ibiza holiday. If you do want a bigger night out, Ibiza Town is reachable by taxi or bus.

There is also more to do than simply relax by the beach. A walk up to Puig de Missa, the whitewashed hilltop church above the town, gives lovely views over Santa Eulalia and the surrounding coast. Boat trips run seasonally from the harbour to nearby beaches and resorts, and the famous hippy markets at Punta Arabí and Las Dalias are within easy reach. Overall, Santa Eulalia is a comfortable, attractive resort with enough restaurants, walks and day-trip options to keep a holiday varied without feeling hectic.
