About Son Parc holidays

Son Parc is a relaxed resort on Menorca’s north coast, best suited to holidaymakers looking for a quieter base with easy access to the beach and countryside. It has a purpose-built feel, with apartments, villas, a small commercial area and low-rise accommodation spread around pine-covered surroundings rather than a busy town centre. The pace is gentle, making it a good choice for couples, families and anyone who prefers simple, laid-back holidays over late nights and large resort crowds.

The main draw is Son Parc’s beach, Arenal de Son Saura, a wide sandy bay backed by dunes and pine trees. The sand is pale and soft, the water is usually clear, and the gently shelving shoreline makes it popular for paddling and swimming when conditions are calm. As with many north-coast beaches, the sea can be more exposed on windy days, so it is always worth checking local conditions. There are usually seasonal facilities close to the beach, though the setting still feels more natural than heavily developed.

Son Parc has a modest choice of restaurants, cafés and bars, mostly catering for casual meals, drinks and family-friendly evenings. You will find enough for a relaxed week, but the resort is not aimed at visitors wanting a large dining scene or lively nightlife. For more choice, nearby resorts and towns such as Arenal d’en Castell, Fornells, Mahón and Es Mercadal are useful options, especially if you have a hire car.

One of Son Parc’s distinctive features is Golf Son Parc, Menorca’s only golf course, which sits close to the resort and adds to its quiet, spacious atmosphere. Walkers can also enjoy sections of the Camí de Cavalls coastal path in the wider area, with routes leading through typical Menorcan landscapes of woodland, rocky coves and open coastal views.

A holiday in Son Parc is mainly about beach time, slow meals, golf, gentle exploring and enjoying Menorca’s quieter side. It is a practical base if you want a peaceful resort with enough amenities nearby, while still being within reach of the island’s historic towns, harbours and scenic north-coast villages.
