Nearby Platis Gialos offers a similar setting on a slightly smaller scale, while Gradakia and Kalamia are also popular options for a quieter swim depending on the time of day and season. Some beaches involve slopes or steps, so comfortable footwear is useful if you are staying away from the seafront.

Eating out in Lassi is straightforward, with a good mix of Greek tavernas, casual restaurants and cafés. Menus usually cover Kefalonian and Greek classics alongside familiar international dishes, so it works well for couples, groups and families who want choice without travelling far each evening. Nightlife is low-key rather than lively, centred on relaxed bars, cocktails, music and the occasional late drink. For a busier evening, Argostoli is only a short taxi or bus ride away.

There are several easy things to do beyond the beach. Argostoli’s waterfront is well worth visiting, especially around the harbour and De Bosset Bridge, and boat trips or island excursions can usually be arranged locally. Popular day trips from Lassi include Myrtos Beach, Assos, Fiskardo, St George’s Castle and the Melissani and Drogarati caves. Hiring a car gives the most flexibility, but organised excursions are a simple option if you prefer not to drive.
