Lardos works particularly well for travellers who want a comfortable beach holiday with local character and convenient access to south-east Rhodes. It is not the island’s biggest or liveliest resort, but that is part of its appeal: calm days by the sea, traditional meals, and easy trips to some of Rhodes’ most memorable places.
