Popular things to do nearby include visiting Elephant Rock, a distinctive natural rock formation just outside town, exploring the coast by car, or taking day trips towards Sassari, Alghero, Stintino or the rugged scenery around Costa Paradiso. Castelsardo suits couples, independent travellers and anyone looking for a scenic Sardinian base with history, sea views and an unhurried pace.
